In Steel mills pickling lines are installed to clean the steel products by acid cleaning ,and protect their surfaces by acid based processes such as passivating , phosphating , galvenizing etc. During these processes acidic fumes are generated from the pickling lines which harm the personnel and the environment . In Chemicals or Fertilizer Industry , fumes are generated which have to e cleaned before discharging to atmosphere.
